Round 3.4 of the June 2020 Clutch Championship was won by Caruana as White. The Carlsen-Caruana day-match was at this game past its opening rounds and into the higher-stakes middle clutch games. Caruana’s win in this game extended the back-and-forth pattern of their pandemic-era online encounters.
